ToolKit AR — Terms of Use

By tapping “Continue,” “Subscribe,” or using ToolKit AR, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1) What ToolKit AR does

ToolKit AR provides augmented-reality measuring utilities. Results are for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed for safety-critical, engineering, medical, or construction certification use.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country). If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3) License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms.

4) In-App Subscription (Apple Billing)

    • Billing & Payment. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID via Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes and stores payment details.

    • Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

    • Renewal Charge Timing. Your Apple ID may be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period for the next period’s price.

    • Manage or Cancel. You can manage or cancel at any time in Settings → ToolKit AR → Subscriptions (or via the “Manage Subscriptions” link in the app). Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

    • Free Trial. If offered (e.g., 3-day free trial), it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. In some regions, any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

    • Pricing. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and currency. We may change prices for future billing periods; if required, you’ll be notified in-app or by Apple and can cancel before renewal.

    • Refunds. Apple handles refunds under the Apple Media Services Terms. To request a refund, use Apple’s report-a-problem channel.

    • Receipts & Validation. We use RevenueCat as a service provider to validate App Store receipts and manage entitlements; RevenueCat does not receive your full payment details.

5) Your Content & Device Permissions

    • Camera/AR. The app uses your device camera for AR measuring. Video is processed on-device as described in our Privacy Policy.

    • Photos. If you save screenshots/images, they are stored in your device library under your control.

6) Acceptable Use

Do not interfere with the app, attempt to access it through automated means, or use it in ways that violate law or third-party rights. Use AR safely—be aware of surroundings and hazards.

7) Intellectual Property

The app, UI, logos, and code are owned by Chirpie LLC. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute except as allowed by law and these Terms.

8) Disclaimers

ToolKit AR is provided “as is.” Measurements are estimates that can be affected by lighting, surfaces, device sensors, and user input. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9) Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data or profits. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the subscription period during which the claim arose (excluding amounts paid to Apple).

10) Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Subscription cancellation is managed through Apple as described above.

11) Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect product or legal changes. If updates are material, we’ll notify you in-app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
